You can expect a different experience when you visit our office. From the welcoming nature of the staff, to the artwork and living room-like waiting area, we strive to have you feel comfortable. We are not just a dental office. We are a community which includes Doctor, staff, patients and their families. We have three generations of patients and occasionally attend graduation parties, weddings and retirement events. Because of the quality of care and caring that patients receive, they may continue to see us even if the move from the area. We have patients from all over the United States as well as England and other areas outside the States.

Our Staff

Our highly competent and compassionate staff participates in monthly educational meetings on dentistry and emergency medical procedures. This combined with their years of experience assures for respectful and professional care.

Throughout my career, I have always felt that it is vital to treat each patient as if they are the most important person I’m seeing that day. The patient’s needs and concerns are my priority. This profession offers me the opportunity to evaluate, educate, and offer my expertise to patients in order to improve their oral health, which will also improve other aspects of their physical well-being. I strive every day to be a good listener, to treat my patients with respect, and to give them the quality care they deserve. My goal is that every patient will leave this office assured that they received optimum professional care and hopefully will look forward to their next visit to our office.
— Nancy Baker, Dental Hygienist, over 39 years in dentistry
As practice coordinator, my goal is to ensure that each patient receives prompt, professional, friendly, and courteous attention. To maintain a clean, comfortable, and well-maintained office for our patients and staff. Also to ensure that all patients, as well as our staff, are treated with the respect they deserve.
— Sandy Young, Practice Coordinator, over 16 years in dentistry
I want to be a hygienist that patients admire. To provide proper education to help prevent periodontal disease and good overall health to each and every patient that I treat. I want to help my patients to have a goal of keeping their natural teeth for a lifetime, with treatments that are as gentle as possible.
— Wendy Piero, Dental Hygienist, over 31 years in dentistry.
I started working with Dr. Elefterin in January of 2016, after spending 33 years at a practice in Tennessee. Everyone, the patients, my co-workers, even the UPS guy, has been kind and nice. I enjoy working and getting to know people who share information on places to go and things to do.

Each day is a learning experience, something new and different. I hope to use this knowledge to be helpful to Dr. Elefterin and to the patients. I want to strive for the patients to be comfortable and enjoy their experience with us.
— Tomi Forchione, Dental Assistant, over 35 years in dentistry
My goal when I come into work is to help patients obtain their maximum dental health, help patients look forward to coming into their dental appointments, and to make sure they leave feeling better about themselves.
— Jeanne Byers, Dental Assitant - Over 31 years in dentistry
I love being part of a team with the talent and dedication that we have here. Even though I work behind the scenes, I feel that I make a huge contribution to the well-being of the staff and patients. I love to hear stories about patients who have great experiences here and love coming back! Our entire staff and many patients get into the spirit of our fundraising efforts and we get to impact people far outside of our practice.
— Kris Elefteirn, business Manager, over 32 years in dentistry

Community Outreach

One way we all stay connected is through our fundraising and community outreach. Below are a few examples of past and ongoing projects.

Donation Drives & Fundraisers

We support the community by providing school supplies, hats, mittens, gloves, scarves, underwear and sox, as well as toiletries to area schools and organizations in need. Our patients contribute by donating money, providing and buying used books from our library, and buying raffle tickles when we raffle artwork.

Organizations We Have Helped to Support

St. John’s Villa The Martin Center Job and Family Services foster care Goodwill client Christmas gifts Shared Blessings Habitat for Humanity Juvenile Diabetes Association Domestic Violence Project Refuge of Hope YWCA Women’s Shelter Belden Elementary School …among others

Patient “Show Us Your Smile” Portraits

In 2009 we had our young patients create self-portraits showing their smiles. These were hung in the reception room and patients voted on their favorites. Photos from Alexis (9), Kennady (8), & Aleena (5)

Scholarships

We also award two $500 college scholarships, to a patient, and a Jackson High school student every year.
